No End In Sight For Engle Suits, Even With Liggett Deal

Law360, New York (October 23, 2013, 8:27 PM EDT) -- Despite their counterpart Liggett Group LLC's groundbreaking $110 million settlement in Florida's Engle litigation Wednesday, Philip Morris USA Inc. and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. are expected to keep fighting the cases over the long haul, given their historical aversion to settlement and the far greater liability they face.
