The CBLP, which has been in effect statewide since Jan. 1, 2015, is designed to streamline and expedite complex business and construction litigation in New Jersey.[1] The new rules are intended to further those goals by providing better case management, more predictability and greater efficiencies in complex cases.[2] Attorneys and their clients should be aware of the new CBLP rules, as they include significant changes from the rules previously governing such cases....
