$610M Stalking Horse Bid For 4 Verity Hospitals Approved

Law360 (February 20, 2019, 3:19 PM EST) -- A California bankruptcy court has approved a $610 million stalking horse bid from an affiliate of health care company KPC Group for the four remaining hospitals in the bankrupt Verity Health System chain and will allow another of Verity's hospitals to cancel a union contract.

KPC’s bid, approved by the court on Tuesday, is for St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles, Seton Medical Center in Daly City and Seton Coastside in Moss Beach.
