CORRECTED: McSweeny Set To Exit FTC Later This Month

Law360 (April 16, 2018, 6:12 PM EDT) -- Terrell McSweeny, a commissioner with the Federal Trade Commission since 2014, said Monday that she will step down from the post later this month as a slate of commissioner nominees awaits confirmation.

McSweeny will step down on April 28, as four of President Donald Trump’s FTC nominees are awaiting a full Senate vote and a fifth awaits committee approval. Her term expired in September and she had said she’d stay on until her replacement arrives.
