Sprint, T-Mobile Tell FCC It's Time To Act On Merger Review

Law360 (August 12, 2019, 7:20 PM EDT) -- Sprint and T-Mobile pressed the Federal Communications Commission to ignore calls to defer its decision on the companies' planned $56 billion combination, as the carriers declared Monday "it is time for the commission to act."

Fresh off the heels of a deal with the U.S. Department of Justice, the carriers pressed the commission to keep the wheels churning on its own review of the proposed megamerger, arguing that their application has been pending for more than a year, and the agency has already reviewed an enormous number of comments lodged in multiple input windows.
