Class Counsel Nets $28M Fees In Auto Parts Price-Fix Deal

Law360, Fort Wayne (August 11, 2017, 7:24 PM EDT) -- A Michigan federal judge on Thursday awarded at least $28 million to counsel representing purchasers of automotive wire harnesses who have alleged a conspiracy to fix prices on the auto parts, saying they reached a favorable outcome for the purchasers.

U.S. District Judge Marianne O. Battani granted the purchasers' attorneys 30 percent of settlement funds totaling nearly $103 million after deducting some $10 million in settlement funds from the pot.
