Over the past few months, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development promulgated and launched guidance that will be instrumental in assisting attorneys and in-house counsel to advise companies on how to conduct their businesses responsibly. This guidance is part of a trend of nonbinding legal instruments that set standards for responsible business conduct.
