Law360, New York (December 6, 2017, 1:24 PM EST) -- Not only have the recent natural disasters (starting with Hurricane Harvey in August) caused massive human tragedy, they have also caused significant disruptions to employer-sponsored health and welfare plans in the affected regions. Employers will have trouble contacting and tracking down displaced participants, who cannot receive mail, go back to work or even begin to think about potential deadlines for health plan coverage.
