FCC Re-Ups Expert Panel To Focus On Security Of 5G Network
By Christopher Cole (April 19, 2021, 9:16 PM EDT) -- An advisory panel featuring a wide-ranging group of telecom experts will soon be re-launched to counsel the Federal Communications Commission on pressing issues affecting next-generation wireless network and software security, the FCC's acting chief says.
The new advisory panel represents the latest of more than half a dozen iterations of the Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council. CSRIC includes members from the private sector, federal, state and local agencies, trade groups and nonprofits.
