OSHA Enforcement Slipping Under Trump, Labor Org Says

Law360 (June 12, 2018, 8:23 PM EDT) -- Enforcement activities performed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration have decreased since the start of the Trump administration and experienced an even bigger decline at the start of the 2018 fiscal year, a report released Tuesday by the National Employment Law Project said.

The employment-focused advocacy group determined that over the first five months of the 2018 fiscal year, OSHA was far behind its pace for enforcement activities compared to the same point in 2017.
