Robbins Geller Seeks Lead In Action Over Nissan Pay Scandal

Law360 (February 11, 2019, 7:04 PM EST) -- A Michigan pension fund urged a Tennessee federal court on Friday to appoint it the lead plaintiff, and its attorneys at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP lead counsel, in a putative class action over ex-Nissan Motor Co. chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn's alleged underreported compensation in securities filings.

Ghosn was arrested by Japanese authorities on Nov. 19 over a whistleblower-sparked investigation that revealed the chairman failed to report a suspected $79.4 million in income and misused the Japanese automaker's funds for years.
