Chamber Asks Trump To Rework Diversity Training Order

Law360 (October 16, 2020, 4:49 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has urged President Donald Trump to withdraw and rework his order barring certain racial sensitivity training seminars by federal contractors, saying its ambiguities have already created "confusion and uncertainty" and it could lead to bogus investigations, among other things.

In a letter to Trump on Thursday, joined by roughly 150 other business and nonprofit groups, the Chamber took issue with the president's Executive Order 13950, issued Sep. 22, which says contractors may not hold any workplace training that "inculcates in its employees any form of race or sex stereotyping or any form of race or sex...
