Kohl's $4M Manager OT Settlement Gets Final Approval

Law360, New York (January 7, 2016, 3:05 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday granted final approval of a class and collective action settlement worth up to $4 million that resolve allegations Kohl's Department Stores Inc. misclassified managers as supervisors who were ineligible for overtime.

U.S. District Judge Gregory H. Woods signed off on the deal after finding its terms were "fair, reasonable and adequate" to the plaintiffs and members of the settlement classes. The judge had awarded preliminary approval of the settlement in September.
