High Court Ruling Won't Sink Education Co. FCA Suit: Judge

Law360, New York (August 11, 2017, 5:49 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Friday said that a False Claims Act lawsuit alleging that a for-profit education company falsified student achievement records to get federal funding still stands, despite a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that limited liability for noncompliant companies receiving public aid.
