9th Circ. Urged To Let Panel's Uranium Mine Ruling Stand

Law360 (April 13, 2018, 6:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Forest Service on Friday urged the Ninth Circuit to reject a bid by environmental groups to undo a panel ruling that backed a lower court's decision rejecting their challenge to a uranium mining project near the Grand Canyon.

The federal government opposed the petition from the Grand Canyon Trust, the Center for Biological Diversity and the Sierra Club for an en banc review of the appellate panel's decision.
