Wash. Tribes' High Court Win Raises Treaty Rights Concerns

In Washington v. United States,[1] the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed, by a 4-4 per curiam decision, an injunction ordering the state of Washington to spend more than a billion dollars to repair or replace state-owned culverts that had a significant negative impact on anadromous fish habitats.
