NY Climate Legislation Would Stress Building, Power Sectors

The Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act was passed by the Legislature in June and is expected to be signed into law this month by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. The bill leaves a lot of leeway in how New York must achieve net-zero emissions, but will likely force big building owners to spend significant money on upgrades soon and to push investment in the power sector...
