Court Backs Calif. Plan For Carbon Offset Credits

Law360, New York (January 28, 2013, 9:29 PM EST) -- A California state judge on Friday refused to repeal carbon offset trading provisions in California's cap-and-trade program, ruling that the state hadn’t abused its authority when it decided to set offset credits based on broad emission-reduction project categories rather than on each individual project.
