Asarco Attorney To Be Witness, Not Counsel, For Co.

Law360, New York (July 14, 2017, 5:59 PM EDT) -- A Nossaman LLP attorney with a dual role as witness and lawyer for a copper mining enterprise in an environmental damages liability case withdrew as the company's counsel a day after defendant Union Pacific Railroad Co. moved to disqualify her, according to a filing in Idaho federal court Thursday.
