Macaroni Grill Plan Confirmed Over WARN Class Objection

Law360, Wilmington (February 7, 2018, 8:23 PM EST) -- The Chapter 11 plan of bankrupt restaurant chain Romano's Macaroni Grill received court approval Wednesday in Delaware after a judge overruled the objections of a proposed class of terminated employees who said the plan wasn't feasible.

During a hearing in Wilmington, attorneys for debtor Mac Acquisition LLC said the company had reached settlements with all objectors except for two former chefs at California restaurants who were asserting priority claims for lost wages under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
