Real Estate Rumors: Homestead, Buccini/Pollin, Monarch

Law360 (May 12, 2021, 4:58 PM EDT) -- The city of Homestead, Florida, may rezone a residential property to allow for more density, the South Florida Business Journal reported on Wednesday. The Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency is in the process of selling 3.65 acres of land at 866 S.W. Seventh St. to Centennial Management Corp. for $2.08 million and is now considering rezoning the land to allow for 31 residential units per acre versus the current figure of 15 units, the Journal reported.

Real estate firm The Buccini/Pollin Group has landed $50.7 million in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development financing for a Wilmington, Delaware, property, Commercial Observer...
