SBA Tweaks Bid Protests For Woman-Owned Businesses

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 6:30 PM EST) -- The U.S. Small Business Administration issued an interim final rule Thursday that amends protest procedures under its Women-Owned Small Business Program to bring them in line with the protest procedures for the SBA’s other contracting programs.

The SBA is updating its first-ever federal procurement preference regulation, introduced in February and designed to help women-owned small businesses seize contracting opportunities.
