House Passes 2nd Bill To Repeal Health Care Law

Law360, New York (July 11, 2012, 8:52 PM EDT) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill that would repeal the president's entire health care law, marking the second time the Republican-led House has voted to repeal the entire law and capping some 30 votes aimed at repealing parts of the law.

The vote was 244-185, with five Democrats voting for repeal and no Republicans voting against it. Republicans announced right after the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act on June 28 that they would hold another repeal vote. The court ruled...
