Sikorsky Scores $143M Contract For 13 Black Hawk Choppers

Law360, New York (May 21, 2014, 1:35 PM EDT) -- Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. scored a $143.4 million contract modification to provide 13 more Black Hawk helicopters to the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Sikorsky won the contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal in Alabama procuring 13 of the company’s UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, the DOD said in the award notice. Fiscal year 2014 procurement funds were obligated at the time of award.
