L-3 Unit Nabs $143M NASA Tech Support Contract

Law360, New York (May 29, 2014, 5:10 PM EDT) -- NASA awarded a unit of defense contractor L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. a contract worth up to $143 million for technology support at the agency’s Johnson Space Center on Wednesday, according to an agency statement.

L-3 National Security Solutions won the contract to provide simulation and software technology support to NASA’s engineering software, robotics and simulation division at the center, according to the statement. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, which runs from this July through June 2019, will not exceed $143 million, the agency said.
