Wyle, SAIC Renew Fight For $1.8B NASA Health Contract

Law360, New York (June 6, 2014, 7:27 PM EDT) -- Wyle Laboratories Inc. and Science Applications International Corp. are gearing up for another round of competition over a $1.76 billion NASA contract for human spaceflight health services, which NASA rebooted after Wyle successfully protested the award.

NASA rebooted the procurement after the U.S. Government Accountability Office issued a May 14 decision that refused to reconsider its previous ruling that NASA improperly awarded the contract based on a flawed evaluation.

SAIC spokeswoman Lauren A. Darson said Friday that SAIC still hopes to win the contract.
