9th Circ. Won't Rehear Booz Allen Retiree's Stock Sale Suit
By Kelly Knaub (July 1, 2016, 4:05 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit won't reconsider its refusal to revive a former Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. worker's allegations that the government contractor forced him into retirement before a lucrative stock buyout, according to an order the appeals court issued Thursday.
U.S. Circuit Judges Richard R. Clifton and Sandra S. Ikuta and U.S. District Judge Frederic Block, who sat on the Ninth Circuit panel, had ruled May 24 that the consulting company's employee stock program was not a retirement plan under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
