Defend Trade Secrets Act Not Retroactive, Rifle Co. Says
By Natalie Olivo (July 13, 2016, 1:55 PM EDT) -- The Defend Trade Secrets Act cannot retroactively apply to Adams Arms LLC's suit accusing its former business partners of shutting it out of contracts with Peru's military worth more than $100 million, the former partners told a Florida federal judge on Tuesday, saying a misappropriation claim should be tossed.
