VA Watchdog Slams Mismanagement At DC Medical Center

Law360 (March 7, 2018, 9:21 PM EST) -- Continued failures of leadership and practice over a number of years have led to widespread problems at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ D.C. medical center that are putting veterans at risk, according to a watchdog report Wednesday.

The Washington DC VA Medical Center suffers from “widespread and formidable inadequacies” across many of its essential functions due to years of poor practices, which make it hard to provide proper care to veterans, the VA Office of Inspector General found.
