1 Firm Hits Nearly $4B In Hotel M&A Through September

Law360, Minneapolis (October 11, 2016, 4:51 PM EDT) -- O'Melveny & Myers LLP has handled $3.88 billion in hotel mergers and acquisitions value through three quarters of 2016, topping its next-closest competitor, Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP, by more than $400 million.

Paul Weiss guided $3.46 billion in hotel M&A through September, while a trio of law firms — Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Gibson Dunn and DLA Piper — each worked on $3.16 billion in hotel M&A value, according to data from Dealogic.

Dealogic's data take into consideration deals that were announced and not later called off during the first three quarters.
