Iranian Refugees Who Were Denied Asylum Get Class Cert.

Law360 (July 11, 2018, 7:10 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday certified a class of approximately 87 Iranian refugees who traveled to Austria to seek admission to the U.S. under a government program and were denied in February or later, holding that the federal government’s “discretionary” denials of their asylum bids violated federal regulations.
