DHS Seeking Comments On Potential EB-5 Program Updates

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 9:26 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday released an early notice of possible regulatory updates to the EB-5 visa program’s “regional center” component, asking for comments on everything from monitoring measures to issues involved with terminating regional centers.

In a preview copy of the “advance notice of proposed rulemaking,” the DHS laid out several possible changes to the EB-5 regional center program and asked for feedback from “all interested parties,” such as investors, community groups and legal representatives.
