EEOC Seeks Input On Anti-Harassment Enforcement Guide

Law360, New York (January 10, 2017, 4:27 PM EST) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Tuesday it is seeking public input on a proposed set of enforcement guidelines for how to address harassment that is barred by federal employment discrimination laws.

The 75-page-long proposed guidance sets out how the EEOC interprets the federal laws pertaining to harassment that the agency is charged with enforcing, in a format that would replace earlier guidelines issued by the EEOC, according to the document.
