MetLife, Ford Must Pay Attys' Fees After ERISA Loss

Law360 (April 6, 2018, 4:59 PM EDT) -- Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and Ford Motor Co. must pay attorneys' fees to a woman who was denied additional life insurance benefits after her late husband’s death, a Nebraska federal judge ruled Thursday, despite the insurance company’s assertion that fees were inappropriate for the suit.
