Apt. Management Co. Sues Greenwich For Cleanup Coverage

Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 7:31 PM EDT) -- Kamson Corp., a major apartment management organization in the northeastern U.S., has sued Greenwich Insurance Co. in New Jersey demanding coverage for the remediation of contaminated soil at a Poughkeepsie, N.Y., apartment complex.

Greenwich, a unit of XL Insurance Group, has denied coverage under a policy that provides up to $3 million for pollution-related exposures based on an exclusion related to underground storage tanks, according to the July 5 complaint in Bergen County Superior Court.
