Deals Rumor Mill: WaveDivision, Stonyfield, Global Atlantic

By Benjamin Horney (May 17, 2017, 3:31 PM EDT) -- An investment vehicle run by private equity giant TPG Capital is on the verge of picking up broadband cable operator WaveDivision Holdings LLC in a deal worth more than $2 billion, including debt, Reuters reported on Wednesday. According to the report, TPG Global LLC intends to combine WaveDivision with other broadband providers RCN Telecom Services LLC and Grande Communications Networks, which the private equity shop already owns. The combined businesses will be the sixth largest U.S. cable operator, the report noted, and an announcement could come as soon as this week. WaveDivision is owned by Oak Hill Capital and GI Partners....
