Businessman Renews Bid To Jail Deripaska For Contempt

By Christopher Crosby (October 19, 2021, 2:24 PM BST) -- A Russian businessman renewed his battle to have a former associate imprisoned in England on Tuesday in a bitter legal feud over Moscow real estate, telling appellate judges that the man had violated an order to preserve assets.

Counsel for Vladimir Chernukhin told the Court of Appeal at a hearing that Oleg Deripaska had breached a court order requiring him to preserve assets through his solicitors to compensate the businessman if he wins bitterly contested litigation over the Russian property.
