State Dept. Approves $740M In Missile Sales To UK, Denmark

Law360 (July 11, 2018, 4:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. State Department has approved deals worth a combined $740 million to sell medium-range air-to-air missiles and related equipment to the U.K. and Denmark, according to Tuesday announcements from the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

The larger deal involves the U.K., which intends to pay an estimated $650 million for up to 200 AIM-120D advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles, as well as related equipment and services, including missile containers, weapon system support equipment, transportation, spare and repair parts and maintenance and personnel training.
