Comic Artist's 'Cowboys & Aliens' Claims Weak, Studios Say

Law360, New York (July 10, 2012, 9:04 PM EDT) -- The studios behind the movie “Cowboys & Aliens” on Tuesday moved to toss a copyright infringement suit brought by an comic book artist who claims his comic of the same name was ripped off, arguing the artist has failed to assert key elements of copying.
