Writer Says 'Gone Girl' Infringes Her Screenplay

Law360, New York (December 7, 2017, 3:45 PM EST) -- A Nevada writer on Wednesday filed suit in Illinois federal court against the writer of the bestselling thriller "Gone Girl" and the producers of the 2014 hit movie, saying the novel was ripped off of her own unproduced screenplay.
