Law360, New York (September 1, 2010, 6:48 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania appeals court has revived 14 suits filed by women claiming Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s menopause drugs Prempro and Premarin caused their breast cancer, finding that a jury should have weighed the facts as to whether the plaintiffs brought their claims within the statute of limitations.
In an opinion issued Aug. 30, Judge Mary Jane Bowes of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania reversed summary judgment and remanded the cases to the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County.
