Real Estate Rumor Mill: Castle Rock, HFZ, Samuels

Law360, New York (June 25, 2015, 1:22 PM EDT) -- Castle Rock Equity Group LLC is said to have snapped up a luxury Philadelphia apartment building — known as Icon 1616 — from Federal Capital Partners last month for $112 million, the Commercial Observer reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources for the purchase price. The group secured an $80.4 million Fannie Mae loan originated by Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC to help fund the deal, the report said, citing Meridian Capital Group LLC executives who helped negotiate the loan deal for Castle Rock.
