Bloomberg Restricts Its Journalists From Client Login Info

Law360, Los Angeles (May 10, 2013, 6:27 PM EDT) -- Bloomberg LP reportedly said Friday it had taken steps to limit its journalists' access to client login data on the New York-based financial news and information company's trading terminals after complaints by Goldman Sachs Group Inc., one of its major clients.

The information now blocked from Bloomberg's news division includes information on when a company first subscribed to Bloomberg, the times when a subscriber most recently logged onto the service and a list of the functions they were accessing when using the terminal, according to a...
