Deals Rumor Mill: WeWork, Vale, Scripps

By Linda Chiem (June 24, 2015, 7:04 PM EDT) -- WeWork, the coworking startup that provides shared office space to freelancers and entrepreneurs, is raising a new round of capital that values the company at $10 billion, doubling the valuation during its Series D funding round in December, Bloomberg reported Wednesday. New York-based WeWork sells membership plans ranging from $45 to $350 per month that provide people with flexible access to offices, workspace and conference rooms. Founded in 2010, WeWork caters to startups, freelancers, entrepreneurs and small businesses and currently has approximately 23,000 customers in 43 locations in 16 U.S. cities, as well as in London, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv....
