Fox Beats ‘Goodfellas’ Actor’s $250M ‘Simpsons’ Likeness Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (August 6, 2015, 4:32 PM EDT) -- Fox Television Studios Inc. prevailed Thursday in a $250 million lawsuit by “Goodfellas” actor Frank Sivero alleging the studio ripped off his likeness for a mafioso character on “The Simpsons,” when a California judge ruled that the character was protected by the First Amendment.
