Language Group, Studio Battle Over Klingon Amicus

Law360, Los Angeles (January 3, 2017, 10:33 PM EST) -- A constructed languages group is once again asking a California federal court for permission to argue that languages cannot fall under copyright protection, in a Klingon-laden motion filed in Paramount Pictures and CBS's lawsuit against the makers of a “Star Trek” fan fiction film.
