Cardiac Death Suit Reinstated Over Improper Dismissal

Law360, New York (June 15, 2017, 3:05 PM EDT) -- A New York appeals court revived a lawsuit accusing a cardiologist of contributing to a woman’s death by failing to diagnose and treat a condition in which fluid built up around her heart, finding on Wednesday that a lower court had improperly used a hearing on expert testimony to dismiss the suit.
