By Allissa Wickham (March 21, 2014, 6:53 PM EDT) -- As regulators examine its proposed $45 billion acquisition of Time Warner Cable Inc., Comcast Corp. has added an attorney with government-related antitrust experience to its lobbying group, according to registration documents filed Tuesday.
Seth Bloom, who previously served as general counsel for the Senate Antitrust Subcommittee, registered as a lobbyist for Comcast on March 7, according to a disclosure form filed with the Senate on Tuesday.
Bloom currently operates Bloom Strategic Counsel PLLC, which offers advice and advocacy for clients involved in antitrust and technology issues.
