Sinclair-Tribune Merger Could Boost Minority Biz, FCC Hears

Law360, New York (December 7, 2017, 3:11 PM EST) -- Conservative political commentator Armstrong Williams told the Federal Communications Commissions in an ex parte filing that Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc.’s proposed acquisition of Tribune Media Co. would allow minority-owned businesses to gain licensed stations and market share.

Washington, D.C. law firm Colby May PC, on behalf of Williams, told FCC Secretary Marlene H.
