Iñupiat Village's Arctic Drilling Suit Is Moot, 9th Circ. Says

By Victoria McKenzie (August 24, 2021, 9:29 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit told an Iñupiat village in Alaska's North Slope on Tuesday that its claims against the federal government for greenlighting a ConocoPhillips exploratory drilling operation are now moot in light of new federal environmental regulations.
